Refresher on different techniques is always beneficial.

Kelly OToole's comments:

I chose to look at the Google Powerpoint. I learned several new things I can do to make my Google searches more powerful and meaningful. I never new that the Google box can be a quick calculator and the wonder wheel might be really useful to visual learners like me. Also I always forget that you can use CTRL "F" to search any website or any document. Due to the change of semester for Elective Teachers I have not shared anything I learned with my students but I defined plan to incorporate some of these strategies into my lesson plans. In the past I have used the Google spreadsheet application to create quizzes for my students to take online.

I haven't gotten a chance to try them in my class yet but I've made the foldable and plan to try it with my Health classes. Much more fun way to learn vocabulary.

I'm going to try the foldables but for a research project. I'm tired of reading a lot of cut and paste "googly gook." Young has a book of really nice foldables, including the one on youtube.
